About this product
Upgrade your pit crew attire or tackle the challenges of desert and off-road racing with the K1 Versus Nomex® Pit Crew Shoe. This versatile, dual-purpose footwear is engineered to excel in the pit and endure demanding off-road conditions. Boasting a manufacturer certification to the stringent SFI 3.3/5 rating, the Nomex construction guarantees crucial flame and heat transfer resistance, ensuring unparalleled foot protection for motorsports professionals.
Designed for speed and accuracy, the Versus shoe features a structural graphic for enhanced foot support during intense pit changes and an ergonomically stamped upper to reduce material bunching. This promotes the quick movements essential for success in the pit. Prioritizing comfort, supportive high-resiliency foam keeps feet comfortable throughout long races. For safety, hidden laces and an additional ankle strap ensure a secure fit, minimizing risks in a fast-paced environment.
The rugged sole provides excellent traction and support, while the ruggedized suede material ensures the durability needed for a full racing season. This makes the Versus shoe a perfect alternative to traditional racing footwear for desert and off-road racers, including co-drivers in series like SCORE International and the Baja 1000. It's ideal for situations requiring repairs in remote areas, safeguarding feet from unique environmental challenges.
