Long distance high speed off road driving heats up and fades a single coil over shock. Rigs that want to maximize dampening control and drive at high speeds on long off road trips install a secondary bypass shock. Bypass shocks are designed to have additional tuning capability with a compression and rebound adjuster. This allows you to customize your ride and performance for your vehicle and terrain.
Off road racers must have the most dampening control possible to maximize their speed in constantly changing terrain. Installing bypass shocks helps keep your vehicle balanced in high speed corners and reduces harsh bottom-outs.
TC shock hoops take hours of fab work out of the installation process. TC custom length bypass shocks are required for all stock length applications.

4130 pre-bent chromoly shock hoops are designed to install TC custom length secondary 2.5" bypass shocks.
Reinforces the factory coil bucket. The low profile design keeps the hoop from contacting the inner fender well.
Flush mount top plate was designed to allow the hoop to be used with shocks that use bolts or studs on upper mount and eliminates the need to trim the inner fenderwell to install the rear bolt.
Upper shock tabs are tacked in place to aid in secondary shock location set up. Welding is required.
Grade 8 hardware included.
Designed specifically for TOTAL CHAOS lower control arms with dual shock tabs.
NOTE: All dual shock lower control arms require a 1.25" wheel spacer to keep the tire from hitting the second shock mount at full steering lock even if you do not have a secondary shock installed.
