About this product
OVERVIEW
These tapered exhaust gaskets provide a direct replacement for worn seals, stopping air leaks caused by thermal cycling and aging components on your motorcycle. Crafted from a reinforced graphite and steel mesh blend, this set secures the muffler outlet to the exhaust header with lasting structural integrity. Designed specifically for Sportster models, they restore proper joint sealing for consistent engine performance.
ENGINEERING & PERFORMANCE
The graphite and steel mesh composite withstands extreme heat and vibration without warping, replacing standard flat seals that routinely fail under aggressive riding conditions. Each gasket features a tapered and beveled profile engineered to mate directly with the spherical exhaust port, distributing clamping pressure evenly across the joint. This precise contour absorbs minor manufacturing variations, eliminating the gap that typically causes exhaust leakage. The durable construction maintains its strength over long service intervals, reducing the frequency of replacements compared to conventional aftermarket options.

WHY HARLEY RIDERS CHOOSE THIS
Riders choose these gaskets because the graphite-steel composite formulation actively resists melting and degradation, closing the air gaps that routinely drain horsepower and amplify exhaust noise. The tapered, beveled design mirrors modern Harley exhaust joint shapes, allowing a factory-tight seal without requiring custom trimming or temporary aftermarket fixes. By upgrading from failing flat gaskets, this set restores efficient scavenging airflow and dependable heat management across both heavy touring chassis and lighter motorcycle frames. A secure header-to-muffler connection ultimately simplifies routine maintenance while keeping the bike running smoothly under sustained loads.
