Zermatt® calfskin is one of the most desired leathers for linings in particular for watch straps and bracelets. Zermatt was developed for the luxury brands so that it doesn't cause any irritation on the skin. It has some water barrier qualities as well to prevent it from molding or degrading from sweat and oils from the skin. This special article can be see on many products by the top brands.
Tanneries Haas has been specializing in the highest quality calf skins since 1842. Many of their articles are staples for the the top French luxury brands. They are masters of their craft and produce to the highest of requirements.
This calf is the top grade and has a nice cutting yield. This leather is supple and has a nice natural feel and is easy to work with. This is one of our favorite leather articles for premium linings.
