Tailgate hinge protection for your 4th Gen Tacoma
The Cali Raised LED CR4403 Tailgate Theft Protector helps deter tailgate theft by shielding access to the passenger-side hinge and adding tamper-resistant security hardware. Manufactured in-house in Fort Worth, Texas, from laser-cut 304 stainless steel, it has an uncoated finish.
Fitment and compatibility
Fits 2024–2027 Toyota Tacoma models (4th Gen), all trims. Compatible with OEM and aftermarket bumpers. Does not fit 2023 or earlier Tacomas.

Installation and tools
Estimated installation time is under 10 minutes. The protector uses a factory mounting point and requires no drilling or cutting. Supply a 3/8-inch ratchet with a 10 mm socket and a 1/4-inch bit driver or ratchet that accepts the included security bit. Keep the bit for future removal. Current design
The protector ships without the CR logo cutout. Some installation photos show the earlier CR-cutout design; the installation procedure is unchanged.
