About this product

Product Description

TAG Log & Lumber Forks with Paddle Top Clamp | Tine Lengths 48"–84" | Machine Size 15–27.5 Tons | For Wheel Loaders

DESCRIPTION

The TAG’s Log & Lumber Forks with Paddle Top Clamp offer enhanced material handling control and versatility for mid-sized wheel loaders working in lumber yards, mill sites, and log staging areas. Designed for Class 500 machines, these forks integrate TAG’s standard boxed carriage and rod-mounted tine system with a wide-surface paddle clamp—delivering the largest clamping footprint available for uneven timber bundles and long log stacks.

Constructed using high-strength steel throughout, these forks include adjustable tines secured by split collar lock collars, and optional oscillating rods for greater adaptability on varied terrain. Oversized clamp plates provide even pressure distribution, and third-function hydraulics are required to activate the clamp mechanism.

Key Feature

  • Heavy‑Duty Capacity – Rated for 32,250 lbs @ 24″ load center, engineered for timber bundles, loose logs, and bulk lumber in demanding forestry and yard operations
  • Machine Compatibility – Designed for 20–25 ton wheel loaders (40,000–50,000 lbs), ensuring proper balance, breakout force, and stability under heavy loads
  • Carriage Width – 80″ wide carriage provides excellent stability and support for large log bundles and uneven loads
  • Tine Length Options – Available in 48″, 60″, 72″, and 84″ tines, giving operators flexibility for different log sizes and applications
  • Paddle Style Top Clamp – Oversized clamp arms provide the largest clamping surface area, securing irregular or loose log piles and preventing roll‑off during transport
  • Mounting Options – Offered in both Pin‑On and Quick Coupler configurations, ensuring OEM loader compatibility and fast attachment changes
  • Adjustable Tine Spread – 38″–72″ spread range allows operators to adapt quickly to different bundle widths
  • Durable Build – Fabricated from high‑strength, abrasion‑resistant steel with reinforced gussets and wear points for extended life in timber yards
  • Optimized Geometry – Carriage and clamp design provide excellent visibility, load stability, and safe handling of irregular log piles
  • Operator Efficiency – Reduces cycle times by enabling secure, high‑capacity lifts of bundled or loose timber in fewer passes
  • Versatile Applications – Ideal for lumber yards, sawmills, forestry operations, storm cleanup, and construction sites
  • Low Maintenance – Replaceable wear parts, greaseable pins, and protected hydraulic lines minimize downtime
