More and more 20V's are being converted to coil on plug ignition as stand alone ECU's become less and less expensive to acquire and install. Coil packs can be loosely fit in spark plug tubes but the eventual vibration and rattling out of place leaves us wanting a better solution.
SQ Engineering's mounting plate is reasonably priced, looks sweet, and does a fantastic job of securing Toyota COP's. Plate is counter sunk to accept three flush mount high-tensile fasteners for a very pleasing look.
DOES NOT suit 4AGZE “Supercharged” cam covers. If you have these then this adapter plate can still be used however the cam covers off a normal 4age must be fitted first in the place of the originals. This difference / incompatibility is due to the difference in height of the mounting points for the original steel cover plate between the cam covers. On the 4AGZE cam covers these threaded mounting points are positioned lower and further inwards.
