Specialized S-Works Aethos Frameset

Don't misunderstand, we're all about the race. Climbing to the top of Grand Tours, conquering Monuments - it's in our genetic makeup. But sometimes, simply riding for the joy of riding is exactly what we crave. And that's where the Aethos thrives. It doesn't sacrifice performance and happens to be the lightest frame available, without sacrificing style. Aethos: Billions of calculations in pursuit of the ultimate ride.

• The unique Aethos frame combines the perfect blend of ride, weight, and style. It can handle steep ascents and challenging descents, while also providing maximum comfort for all-day rides and coffee outings. How does it do this, you might wonder? By modernizing traditional road shapes and perfecting their stiffness and balance without sacrificing weight or durability. This revolutionary design and process, honed over decades, results in the lightest frame available (585 grams, S-Works, size 56cm). The Aethos isn't just a bike, it's a whole new species.

• Our featherweight frame is not only lightweight, but also boasts confidence-inspiring ride characteristics. Through extensive research on the flexing and breathing of carbon fiber, we have found groundbreaking insights on how forces flow through frames. The result? The perfect balance of front and rear stiffness combined with exceptional ride quality. Experience this superior ride for yourself with just a few pedal strokes and you'll see that we've set a new standard.

• From derailleur hangers to fork expander plug, every detail is carefully crafted for a perfect ride, prioritizing style, weight, and durability.
