Four Seasons Shallow eBowl Slow Feeder For Dogs

Four Seasons Shallow: a slow feeder dog bowl for dogs that inhale their dinner

A shallower bowl for dogs that struggle with deep sides, including flat faced breeds, older dogs and puppies. Still slows the meal, without making it a fight.

Why slow feeding is worth it

Dogs are natural foragers and most will empty a standard bowl in under a minute, swallowing air as they go. Slowing the meal down gives them something to work at and turns two minutes of eating into fifteen or twenty minutes of occupation. For a dog that is bored, over-excited at mealtimes or simply too fast, that is the whole point.

Recipe ideas are on our recipe page, and our dog jelly range was made for exactly this.

Is this the right one?

Yes, if you have a brachycephalic dog, a senior, or a puppy that finds a deep bowl awkward.

Choose differently if your dog is a chewer rather than a gulper, in which case a nylon eCoin is built for that, or if you want something flatter to spread food across, where an eMat lick mat suits better.

Common questions

Will it actually slow my dog down? Yes. The channels mean they can only take a little at a time, which is the whole mechanism. Most owners see a meal go from under a minute to several.

Can I put it in the dishwasher? Yes, top rack.

Is it suitable for puppies? Yes, for all sizes including puppies. Supervise the first few meals.

Where is it made? The USA, by SodaPup, in FDA compliant factories.
