Sarah Lou Toscano x Suzanne Rae
T-shirt featuring photos by artist Sarah Lou Toscano, from their collaborative photo essay.
Photographer and equine physiotherapist Sarah Lou Toscano, a kindred spirit who travels the country for horse shows, captured an intimate weekend between artist and designer, set along the quiet edges of upstate New York. Together, they explore themes of femininity and freedom found within rural isolation. “It speaks to both our visual languages—a little horsey, a little dreamy, a little dirty, and full of positive feminine energy." Featuring the Suzanne Rae shoe collection and archival pieces, the images blur the line between fashion and landscape: horse barns, soft light, worn trails. The resulting series is carefree and grounded, with a touch of grit. A reminder that in the stillness of elsewhere, something quietly beautiful can take shape.
