The sole of this version is made with Fiberglass reinforced Nylon which is a stiff material at a reasonable price. A heel loop makes it easy to slip the foot in and stay in place. On top of their amazing performance, the SH-TR501 Shoes have outstanding ventilation with a mesh synthetic leather upper.
