The ferm Living Sekki Bowl reads as a light, almost hovering vessel rather than a heavy tabletop object. A raised foot lifts it fractionally off the table, and its dense stoneware body is finished in a cream glaze flecked with fine grey speckling that varies from piece to piece. The cream-and-speckle finish nods to the coarse-textured, hand-thrown stoneware of traditional Japanese ceramics that the Sekki collection draws on.
