💬 FAQ
Q • Will this turn off my seat-belt alarm?A • Yes, the metal tongue engages the sensor like the factory buckle, so chimes stop as soon as it’s inserted.
Q • Is it legal to drive using only the extender?
A • Regulations vary. The extender is designed for use with the original belt to improve reach, not to replace wearing a belt.
Q • How do I know if it fits?
A • Measure your buckle slot (should be ≈21 mm wide) and check the “Not Compatible” list above. If in doubt, send us a photo—we’ll confirm in 12 h.
Q • Can kids use it with booster seats?
A • Yes, it helps position the buckle higher for easier access, but ensure the belt path still follows booster-seat guidelines.
