About this product
Sea-Dog 336411-1 Deck Plates
The Sea-Dog 336411-1 is a 6-inch low-profile deck plate designed to provide convenient access to storage compartments, fuel fills, water tanks, and other below-deck areas while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance on your boat's deck. The low-profile design sits nearly flush with the deck surface, reducing trip hazards and creating a sleeker look compared to traditional raised deck plates.
Constructed from durable, UV-resistant black plastic, this deck plate is engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment, including constant exposure to saltwater, UV radiation, and temperature extremes. The black finish provides a professional appearance that complements most boat deck colors while resisting fading and discoloration over time. The 6-inch diameter provides ample opening size for accessing storage areas, filling tanks, or routing cables and hoses.
The screw-out design features a threaded collar that secures the plate firmly in place while allowing easy removal when access is needed. The O-ring seal creates a watertight barrier that prevents water intrusion into storage compartments and below-deck areas, protecting your gear and equipment from moisture damage. The low-profile construction minimizes the plate's height above the deck surface, reducing the likelihood of stubbed toes or tripping hazards while maintaining full functionality.
Installation is straightforward, requiring only a 6-inch hole saw to create the mounting opening. The threaded design ensures a secure, vibration-resistant fit that won't loosen over time from engine vibration or wave action. Whether you're installing new deck access points, replacing worn deck plates, or upgrading to a lower-profile design, this Sea-Dog deck plate provides reliable, watertight access with a clean, professional appearance.
