When used with a shaving brush and hot water, it produces a rich, foamy lather that protects the skin from irritation by improving razor glide and is formulated with a high concentration of glycerin, coconut acid and pure essential oils to leave your skin feeling smooth. Our Shaving Soap comes in a stylish, reusable wooden bowl made of teak for durability in wet environments. Refill Shaving Soaps without the bowl can be purchased separately. 

How To Use:

Lathering up is the 2nd step in The Art of Shaving's trademarked 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave™ (preceded by applying Pre-Shave Oil). 

With a brush (recommended): Rinse your face with hot water to stimulate skin, open pores, and soften beard hair for an easier shave. Then, wet your brush thoroughly under hot water before whisking it over the surface of the shaving soap. Apply brush to your face in quick, circular movements to exfoliate the skin and produce a rich lather. To generate a fuller lather, simply add more hot water to the brush. Shave with the grain on your first pass. If a closer shave is desired, re-lather and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply our 2in1 After-Shave Balm.
