The Shift Alpha S BOA 115 W takes everything we like about the Shift Alpha platform and packages it in a flex and cuff design that's better suited to many female skiers. It shares the same low-volume fit, walk mode, BOA lower shell, and touring-focused construction as the 130, making it a true 50/50 alpine touring boot.
On the descent, the 115 provides impressive power for a touring boot. It doesn't have quite the brute strength of a dedicated alpine boot, but it drives skis confidently and maintains a smooth, progressive flex that feels predictable in a wide range of conditions. The slightly softer flex compared to the 130 makes it easier to access while still offering plenty of support for advanced skiers.
The women's-specific cuff features a lower overall height and a shape designed to better match women's lower leg anatomy, creating a more natural fit around the calf and allowing the boot to flex more comfortably throughout the day.
In walk mode, the Shift Alpha offers excellent range of motion for efficient skinning and a natural stride on the climb. Whether you're earning turns in the backcountry or spending part of the day in the resort, it strikes an excellent balance between uphill efficiency and downhill confidence.
Fit remains very similar to the alpine S/Pro Alpha family. The heel pocket is secure, the length runs true to size, and the instep is generous for a low-volume boot. Both the shell and liner are fully heat moldable, making the boot easy to customize, while the cuff fit is on the more precise side for skiers with average to lower-volume calves.
The Shift Alpha S BOA 115 W is an excellent option for advanced women looking for a true touring boot that feels remarkably close to an alpine boot on the descent while remaining comfortable and efficient on the climb.
