The Bloch Euro Demi is a transitional shoe and training tool designed to help dancers prepare for pointe work. It offers more structure and resistance than a ballet slipper while remaining more flexible than a full pointe shoe.
Designed to mimic the fit and feel of a traditional pointe shoe, without the rigidity of hard paste, Euro Demi allows the shoe to warm up with the foot while providing purposeful resistance. This makes it an effective training tool for developing strength, control, and awareness before progressing to pointe.
Constructed with a box and sole engineered to provide resistance, Euro Demi supports the development of the foot and lower leg muscles required for pointe work. Made on the European Balance last, the shank remains in close contact with the arch improving alignment and providing support during training.
The generous platform encourages balanced weight distribution and can help reduce pressure on individual metatarsals, allowing dancers to experience what being en pointe feels like in a controlled, supportive way.
Design details such as a diagonal seam help minimize satin creasing, while the low-profile construction, medium sides, open throat vamp, and elastic drawstring create a smooth, contoured fit.
