About this product

Handmade at Pollygarden Studios in Seoul, this ruffle-shaped bowl is crafted by connecting hand-kneaded, colored clay to create unique patterns. Each bowl features its own distinctive ruffle shape, making every piece one of a kind.

Natural variations such as slight differences in shape, pattern, and size - along with subtle marks like scratches, glaze textures, black spots, or pinholes - are part of the handmade process and reflect the artistry of traditional ceramic making.

Unlike mass-produced items, handmade ceramics feature unique characteristics, such as irregular openings, slight variations in shape, and differences in pattern and size. These imperfections - such as small scratches, rough textures, black spots, tiny pinholes, and glaze-flow marks - are not flaws but rather natural marks of craftsmanship. They are an integral part of the process and contribute to the mug's individuality and charm.
