The factory intake boot connecting the airbox to the throttle body is constructed from thin, unreinforced rubber. Under high-heat conditions and heavy throttle load, this soft OEM hose can actually collapse in on itself, choking off critical airflow right when you need maximum performance. RPM SXS fixes this major flaw with an ultra-heavy-duty 8.5mm thick, 5-ply heat-resistant silicone replacement that will never expand, flex, or collapse—no matter how hot the engine bay gets.
Engineered with an oversized internal diameter and smooth, sweep-style transitions, this tube eliminates factory airflow bottlenecks and rough internal molding imperfections to deliver maximum intake air volume and high-velocity delivery straight to your engine. It fully retains the factory crankcase ventilation port for a seamless fit and comes complete with heavy-duty, silicone-safe stainless steel T-bolt clamps for a leak-free, blowout-proof seal.
