About this product
This ballad is ideal for a change of pace in your program. Thelonious Monk's jazz classic, carefully scored here by Victor López, showcases your trumpet or flugelhorn player. Because López made this chart very accessible, with ranges for solo trumpet to A-flat and trombone to F, and because Monk wrote interesting chord changes, the band will sound great and enjoy playing it. Perfect for festivals or concerts, 'ROUND MIDNIGHT is one of those jazz standards all students of jazz should learn and play. Here's a perfect opportunity to teach phrasing, style and blend with this fine chart.
