About this product
Inky black shapes twist and bloom across a pale, embossed field, like frost on a window that got ambitious. Sheer mesh circles — remnants from a sewing project — hover over the pattern and a background of polka dots from the tissue paper inside a shoe box. Tangles of white thread glint in the centers of the blooms. A white stitched border keeps the whole thing from creeping off the edge.
Made by Karen Randolph from ironed recycled plastic and other salvaged materials, stitched down and mounted on natural wood planks. One of a kind, signed lower right.
Finished size: 13.5" x 15.5".
