About this product
The Red Nutcracker Light-Up Sitter is a hand-painted ceramic nutcracker in a red coat with gold epaulettes, a tall black hat and black boots, holding a bottle-brush tree — with an LED light inside.
Why You'll Love It
- It lights from within, which is what makes a nutcracker worth having on a mantel after dark rather than just during the day
- Hand-painted ceramic with modelled detail on the face, beard and uniform braid
- A real bottle-brush tree in his hands, adding texture against the smooth glaze
- Traditional red and gold, the colourway people expect a nutcracker to be
- Stands on its own base, so it needs no stand or propping

December Belongs To The Nutcracker
Nutcrackers are one of the few Christmas motifs that people actively collect, adding one a year until there's a row of them along a mantel. A light-up version gives an existing collection something it doesn't have, which is the easiest kind of sale there is.
It has a companion in the Pink Nutcracker Light-Up Sitter, and belongs on a display with the Nutcracker Hostess Set, the Nutcracker Pitcher and the Nutcracker Scallop Trinket Tray.
