About this product
Hand-painted, hand-glazed, and shaped in Tunis Village in Fayoum, Egypt. The Rawya Red Palm Bowl brings depth and warmth to your table or shelf. The same bold red tones and palm motif as the plate - in a form that holds as beautifully as it displays.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind. Slight variations in glaze and pattern are part of what makes it yours.
Diameter: 19cm
Why We Love It
- Rawya was the first woman in Tunis Village to open her own workshop and become a business owner - facing doubt from her community every step of the way. Now she leads a team of six
- Fair Trade Egypt supports their artisans with education and liveable wages - buying this piece is part of that
- Works as a fruit bowl, a salad bowl, a catch-all, or a shelf accent. It earns its spot wherever it lands
- Pairs beautifully with the Rawya Red Palm Plate and Baddara Seagrass Placemat for a complete Egyptian table
