A bolt-on rear lower shock skid kit for the 2021–2026 Gen 3 Ford F-150 Raptor and 2023–2026 Raptor R with the 5-link rear suspension. Built from 3/16" steel, MIG welded and finished in black textured powder coat.
The bottom of the rear shock hangs low beside the axle, right where rocks and ledges hit first. This skid shields the lower shock body and the rear axle mounts, and the updated design adds an angled outward point to help deflect rocks instead of taking them square on.

Why Protect The Lower Shock
The lower end of the rear shock and its axle mount sit low and exposed. On the trail they are among the first things a rock touches when the rear end drops into a hole or drags over a ledge. A dented shock body or a damaged mount can take the truck off the trail.
This skid puts steel in front of the lower shock body and the rear axle mounts. The angled outward point on the updated design is there to push rocks aside and keep direct impacts off the shock.

Installation
Bolt-on. The main mount uses the lower shock bolt location, and a separate bolt-on back plate holds the skid in alignment. The kit includes longer shock bolts and nuts for the shock mount.
