The ideal sharpening setup pairs a Raptor CBN wheel with a 46 grit Norton 3X Grinding Wheel for rough shaping or modifying tools. Since the 3X wheel removes material quickly while the Raptor CBN wheel handles final sharpening, a grinder fitted with both makes for a complete sharpening station.
