Product Description
The ProX Complete Clutch Plate Set provides a total drive system rebuild for high-revving 125cc 2-stroke motocross and off-road engines. Engineered as a perfectly matched service package, this kit includes fiber friction plates, steel drive plates, and heavy-duty clutch springs designed to eliminate slipping and restore instant throttle-to-rear-wheel power transfer off the gate.
Manufactured in leading OEM factories to precise engineering tolerances, the fiber friction plates and durable steel plates deliver original equipment lever feel and smooth modulation through tight turns. The specially designed clutch springs feature a 10% stiffer rating than stock units, increasing plate clamping force under heavy clutch abuse to prevent fade and maintain positive drive throughout demanding race motos.

Q: What is included in this complete clutch kit?
A: This kit includes all required fiber friction plates, steel drive plates, and heavy-duty steel clutch springs packaged under a single part number.
Q: Are the included clutch springs stiffer than original equipment?
A: Yes, the included springs are engineered to be 10% stiffer than stock OEM springs to increase clamping pressure and reduce slippage under extreme riding conditions.
Expert Pro-Tip: Always submerge new fiber friction plates in fresh 2-stroke transmission oil for 15-30 minutes prior to installation. When reassembling the clutch stack, check your outer basket fingers for notches caused by plate tabs—filing away minor notches or replacing a worn basket prevents plate drag and ensures smooth lever disengagement.
