The Promac HDM Series Heavy Duty Forestry Mulcher is engineered for demanding land clearing, vegetation management, and forestry applications. Featuring a proven boxed-in design, this heavy-duty attachment combines familiar operation with forestry-proven durability and power. Available in 48-inch and 60-inch cutting widths, it supports excavators weighing 20 tons or more with a minimum carrier power of 135 HP. The hydraulic system operates within a 41–48 GPM flow range and supports maximum hydraulic pressure of 5,000 PSI, delivering powerful cutting performance. Its bent-axis piston motor with fixed displacement provides reliable drum operation at speeds up to 2,200 RPM. Built with 44,000 and 100,000 PSI steel, the HDM Series features a front-exposed drum, quad or double carbide tooling, and replaceable wear shoes for demanding forestry work.
