Excessive heat is the #1 killer of transmissions. Proper cooling of your fluid is one of the most important things that you can do to increase the life of your transmission. Bar and Plate style coolers represent premium quality. Within each repeating section, the internal alternating square pattern (staggered fins) slow the high-temperature fluid which creates a greater transfer of heat radiated through the thin sheet (plate) and cooled by the louvered aluminum fins. The PPE Bar and Plate Transmission Cooler is optimized for your specific application. When the mainline pressure is increased with upgrades such as a high-performance transmission kit your transmission generates additional heat, a PPE Performance Transmission Cooler is critical. The PPE Performance Bar and Plate Style Transmission Cooler is a direct bolt-on replacement part. Covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
