About this product
Fits all 2015-2022 Sportsman 1000 Touring models. Your undercarriage takes a beating on the trail — rocks, stumps, and logs all want a shot at your fuel tank, transmission, and frame. A solid skid plate is the difference between a dent and a real problem.
2010 SKU=739; 2011-13 SKU=744-13; 2014-2016 SKU=744-15; 2017-2022 SKU=929T2
Ricochet makes this one tough. You get a full frame skid plate with a bash plate up front — basically armor for everything underneath. All the bolts and hardware you need are in the box, so you can bolt it on yourself.
Pick your material:
You've got two choices here. Go with straight 3/16" 5052-H32 aluminum if you want solid protection that's straightforward, or step up to 3/16" aluminum with a 1/4" UHMW layer if you want extra toughness against sliding and scraping.
Black powder coat finish
Want it in black powder coat instead of the standard finish? That'll run you an extra $80, and you'll need to wait another 1-2 weeks for it to ship. It's worth it if you care about how it looks once it's on.
Made right here in the USA.
