About This

• TEACHES COLOR AND SIZE RECOGNITION THROUGH HANDS-ON PLAY – The PlanToys Cone Sorting Toy encourages children to explore how size and color relate by stacking wooden cones in order. This visual and tactile activity helps kids understand gradients, proportions and categorization, building early cognitive foundations in a joyful, interactive way.
• DEVELOPS HAND-EYE COORDINATION AND FINE-MOTOR CONTROL – As children place and balance each cone on its peg, they practice precision, grip strength and steady movement. The repetition of stacking improves finger control and coordination while teaching focus, patience and rhythm through movement.
• PROMOTES LOGICAL THINKING AND CONCENTRATION – Sorting by size and color introduces sequencing, pattern recognition and critical thinking. Children learn to observe differences, compare shapes and self-correct independently, developing confidence and problem-solving skills in a calm and structured environment.
• ENCOURAGES CREATIVITY AND INDEPENDENT DISCOVERY – The open-ended design allows children to play freely and create their own patterns or arrangements. Whether they stack cones by order, reverse sequence or mix colors, they learn through experimentation and imagination—core values of Montessori learning.
• SAFE, SUSTAINABLE AND THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED – Made from sustainably harvested rubberwood and finished with non-toxic water-based dyes, this eco-friendly toy ensures safe, long-lasting play. The smooth finish, rounded edges and natural color palette make it a beautiful and calming addition to any Montessori home or classroom.
