Performance Champagne Glasses

THE ULTIMATE LOUDSPEAKER FOR FINE WINE With three generations of experience in creating functional, grape varietal specific glassware, RIEDEL Performance is the result of 10th and 11th generations Georg and Maximilian Riedel's drive to continually improve on what has come before. This technologically advanced collection is the first RIEDEL series to feature bowls with a light optic impact. Detailed research by the Riedel family, aimed at improving the organoleptic wine experience, revealed that increasing the inner surface area of the glass had a positive impact on the perception of the bouquet and flavour of the wine. This was achieved through a unique optical effect, which not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also expands the surface area, allowing the wine to open up and to fully show every aroma and subtle nuance. Consisting of lightweight, durable and dishwasher-safe shapes, RIEDEL Performance glasses are executed by machine in sparkling crystal glass. With fine stems and large stable bases, the range also includes new bowl shapes for Cabernet, Chardonnay and Riesling that, when combined with the optic effect, deliver ultimate wine enjoyment. RIEDEL Performance is a must-have glass collection for all wine lovers. RIEDEL Performance is produced by machine in crystal glass. All RIEDEL Performance glasses are dishwasher safe. The Champagne Glass is perfect for developing champagne’s complex characteristics. This glass allows the wide range of aromatics to unfold. Unlike a flute, the egg-shaped design allows the complex layers to grow and intensify, and the larger rim diameter enables them to be released in a way which is not achieved with a narrow glass. The glass also includes a 'sparkling point' to aid the formation of the Champagne bubbles. As part of the Performance series, this shape was re-developed in 2018. This glass is perfect for light, fresh, dry champagnes, proseccos and sparkling wines. This product is made of clear crystal glass. RIEDEL Performance is the first wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact for better aromatics. Co-designed by both Georg and Maximilian Riedel, RIEDEL Performance is a technologically advanced and user-friendly collection of grape varietal specific glasses.
