It hugs the bottom of the camera tightly ensuring that it will not twist or slip while in use.This bracket plate is compatible with Arca-type clamps from ProMediaGear and even from other brands.
Another advantage of this bracket plate is it serves as the base for the ProMediaGear bracket system. This means that L-brackets, flash-brackets, and camera handles can be attached depending on your need.
