About this product
Crisp and Confident Shifting | OVERTAKE Short Shift Plate
Transform the feel of your Subaru’s manual transmission with the OVERTAKE Short Shift Transmission Plate. The Short Shift Plates are engineered to deliver quicker, more-precise shifts, without compromising on smoothness or drivability.
The OVERTAKE Short Shift Transmission Plate significantly shortens shift throws by reducing the shift action radius by 30%, resulting in faster gear changes and a more-connected driving experience. Unlike lightweight alternatives, this plate is purposefully designed to weigh nearly twice as much as the factory unit (3.0 vs. 1.7lbs), increasing shifter inertia for smoother, more-confident motion between gears.
Precision CNC machined for perfect fit, the OVERTAKE Short Shift Plate offers exceptional strength and long-term reliability. A clear zinc plating provides excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring consistent performance in all driving conditions. Our Shift Plate is a direct replacement for the factory unit and we include an OEM roll pin in the kit to ensure a perfect fit up.

On top of everything, we decided to pay homage to our home state of Minnesota by including our state bird - the Common Loon. Known for it's distinct call and aggressive attitude, we thought "The OVERTAKE Angry Loon" was the perfect addition to this new part.
