The Cloudswift 4 is built for road running in the city: a firm, stable ride designed around hard pavement, in a shoe that does not look out of place off the run.
The bootie-style knit upper slips on like a sock and wraps the midfoot snugly with no tongue bunching. The heel counter is soft, so it gives comfort rather than pronounced structure. The toebox is on the tight side, though the knit stretches to compensate and vertical volume is generous. Because the knit relaxes with wear, sizing up can leave too much room. Wide feet should try before buying.
