The Cloudboom Strike 2 arrives at the starting line packing fifteen percent lighter foam, a stiffer carbon plate and a brand-new forefoot cushioning system. Evolved Helion HF compound delivers more resilience with less weight underfoot, while a lighter and stiffer full carbon fiber Speedboard drives more aggressive forward propulsion with every toe-off.
New CloudTec® Sphere technology in the forefoot allows multi-directional foam expansion for enhanced comfort and feel during the miles where cushioning needs to work hardest. For your final push, a free-floating bounceboard in the top midsole layer preserves the soft yet responsive sensation that made the first generation so celebrated — now refined and elevated for your next race.

- Upper: A new open leno weave construction is super-breathable and highly adaptive, evaporating moisture and heat to keep your feet comfortable in warm racing conditions. A lower heel counter with softer edges thanks to a waterfall construction increases heel comfort and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon. Eliminating one of the most common sources of discomfort that shows up late in a marathon.
- Midsole: A dual-layer Helion HF setup pairs a free-floating bounceboard in the top layer with an updated foam in the bottom layer that is lighter and more resilient than before.
