About this product
Description
This large accessory bundle provides an additional 2 Plates, 1 Large Red Spoon, and 1 Red Spork for the Obi Robot feeder, plus a backpack to neatly store everything in. Obi is the first robotic dining companion of its kind. As eating is one of life's great pleasures and a basic human need, Obi is a revolutionary dining device for people living with physical challenges. For loved ones or patients suffering from Cerebral Palsy, ALS, Parkinson's or any other condition that impairs upper extremity motor control, Obi provides an independent dining experience. The plates align with and are inserted into the Obi placemat for proper functionality. They feature four bowls for food to be placed and from which the user can choose. Obi is appropriate for both adults and kids. The plates are microwave safe and the plate, placemat and spoons are all dishwasher safe. All foods and liquids are compatible with Obi. However, foods need to be prepared and cut into pieces no bigger than 0.75" x 0.75" x 0.75" or smaller. The ideal size is between a pea and a grape. Larger sizes decrease the capture efficiency of the spoons. Obi can deliver food to a maximum height of 15.3" above the mounting surface and a maximum low of 2" below the mounting surface. The device has a maximum reach for food delivery of 16" from the edge of the plate. The Obi is Latex-free and natural rubber free. The Obi Backpack Accessory is the perfect companion for your Obi device, engineered to keep your Obi and accessories safe while you're on the move. Whether you're heading to therapy sessions, traveling across the country, or simply moving between rooms, this custom-designed carrying solution ensures your Obi arrives ready to help. Dedicated accessory compartments keep utensils and small parts organized. The backpack features a convenient water bottle pocket for hydration on the go, and the premium zipper pulls ensure smooth, reliable access. At 14" x 20" x 8", this backpack meets TSA carry-on requirements, so you can keep your Obi close during flights. No more worrying about checked baggage or gate-checking your essential assistive technology. Purpose-built specifically for Obi, this backpack provides a secure, snug fit that prevents shifting and damage during transport. Thoughtfully designed with adjustable wheelchair straps that make transport effortless for wheelchair users.
