About this product
A Winter Board Book About Care and Friendship
Norbert the Winter Gnome tells the story of a small gnome who sets out across a snowy forest to care for his animal friends.
As winter settles in and food becomes scarce, Norbert notices that the forest animals are hungry. One by one, he visits them—walking through icy woods and quiet landscapes—to bring each a thoughtful gift.
Daniela Drescher’s illustrations are rich with winter detail, from snow-covered branches to softly lit forest paths. The simple text and clear sequence make the story easy for very young children to follow, while the images invite lingering and close looking.
Rooted in attentiveness and kindness, Norbert the Winter Gnome offers a peaceful winter story that emphasizes care for others and connection within the natural world. Its compact board book format makes it well suited for repeated reading throughout the colder months.
