About this product
High-Performance Soft Splitboard Boot for Resort and Backcountry
The Nitro Skylab TLS (twin lacing system) Splitboard boot is for those looking to upgrade their inbounds performance while snagging a boot that will take them splitboarding more comfortably. The Skylab is feature-rich for riders who demand a high-performance snowboard boot. The TLS twin-lacing system allows you to get in and out and adjust your boot quickly to find the perfect fit.
All Mountain Splitboard Performance
Nitro's all-mountain boot is equipped to splitboard anywhere you want to adventure. If you don't need to put on semi-auto crampons, we suggest the Skylab for overall comfort without sacrificing response. The durable Vibram outsole ensures you don't slip in the boot pack or the skin track. If you only go splitboarding a handful of times every year, then this is the boot for you.
Lightweight Touring Features for Versatility
The Skylab TLS boot is engineered to be lightweight and durable in all the right ways to make it splitboard compatible. The added comfort of 3D fly knit material on the toe with the reinforced e-foam toe cap allows for the use of soft crampons when hiking on slippery or icy surfaces. The molded Spine protector provides durability and support day in and day out. The molded spine is also going to protect your boot from board edges on the way up the lifts.
Designed for Comfort Uphill and Downhill
Nitro stuffed the boot with a Cloud 8 performance moldable liner and thermal guard underneath for warmth. The Internal Ankle Support and Hike `n` Ride Construction offer a reverse flex in the spine of your boot when you're hiking up on the skin trail with a negative forward lean on your bindings. All these features make the Skylab Nitro's the lightest splitboard boot on the market.
