About this product
This Air Max 90 draws inspiration from the Mercurial Vapor 2002, a beloved cleat that changed how soccer players and fans thought about speed. Adapting the fluid design lines and color shifting of the original, this edition puts a new spin on the visual language of early 2000s soccer. The fold-over tongue adds an on-pitch aesthetic to modern street style.
- The Mad 90 Pack features four Air Max 90 designs inspired by classic Nike soccer cleats. Each shoe connects with the communities that helped define its soccer legacy—from pitch to pavement.
- The "Mercurial" capsule draws energy and influence from the "Korean Wave," seen as the global rise of Korean culture. The elite K-Wave soccer movement was inspired by the UK, with its deep connection to soccer serving as a powerful undercurrent.
- Inspired by the iconic Mercurial Vapor 2002, this Air Max 90 features a removable fold-over tongue, a color-shifting finish and hidden details that all nod to the era, the cleat and the culture.
- Plush and comfortable, Max Air cushioning has just the right amount of support.
