About this product
The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Black Silver gives the classic performance runner a sleek, understated treatment built around a predominantly black palette. A black mesh base is layered with matching suede overlays, creating a tonal foundation that is interrupted by Silver accents across the signature N logos, upper eyelets, tongue branding, and reflective panels. Small Red touches on the heel and insole branding add a subtle burst of contrast.
The reflective elements are especially effective against the dark upper, introducing flashes of brightness and texture without taking away from the shoe's restrained character. Underfoot, a Grey ENCAP midsole provides cushioning and structural support, while the two-tone Black and Grey NDurance rubber outsole adds durability and reliable traction.
The New Balance 990v4 Made in USA Black Silver combines premium materials, classic running heritage, and carefully placed reflective detailing in a versatile colorway that works equally well for everyday wear and understated streetwear styling. The sneaker was released on October 3, 2023, with a retail price of $185.
