About this product
The New Balance Ohtani 1 Turf Trainer is inspired by Shohei Ohtani’s ability to perform on the mound, at the plate, and on the bases. Built for players who contribute across the diamond, this versatile baseball shoe delivers cushioning, durability, and traction for artificial playing surfaces.
A full-length FuelCell midsole provides responsive cushioning with a propulsive feel that helps drive players forward. The premium top cover sits over a high-rebound PU insert to provide additional comfort and security during quick, explosive movements.
The molded CPU upper is made from poured polyurethane for durability through repeated wear, including the toe-dragging motion of pitching. Lightweight synthetic mesh underlays add support without unnecessary bulk, while the nubbed outsole supplies multidirectional traction on artificial surfaces.
