About this product
The New Balance 9060 offers a modern reinterpretation of the refined design language rooted in New Balance’s iconic 99X series. Dressed in a Magnet colorway with layered shades of grey, the silhouette blends contemporary proportions with heritage-inspired detailing.
The upper combines breathable mesh with premium suede overlays, flat cotton laces, and TPU eyelets for a structured yet streamlined look. Drawing influence from the 990 lineage, the design incorporates sway bar elements across the upper for visual movement and stability cues. The tongue logo nods to the original 991 lace jewel, while the diamond-pattern outsole references the classic 860, tying past and present together.
Underfoot, a sculpted pod midsole with exaggerated wavy lines houses ABZORB and SBS cushioning technologies, delivering lightweight impact absorption and responsive comfort. Released on September 25, 2023, with a retail price of $150, the New Balance 9060 Magnet stands out for its fusion of archival inspiration and forward-thinking cushioning innovation.
