About this product
The New Balance 9060 Black Gray (GS) brings a futuristic edge to heritage running DNA, drawing inspiration from classic 99X models. Dressed in a stealthy mix of black and layered gray tones with subtle red accents, this grade school edition delivers a bold yet versatile look.
Staying true to Y2K design cues, the silhouette features a padded tongue and collar for a chunky, supportive feel. The sculpted midsole is defined by oversized pods that showcase ABZORB and SBS cushioning, providing responsive comfort while amplifying the shoe’s technical aesthetic. Up top, breathable mesh in dark gray and white is reinforced with suede overlays in black and gray for structure and durability.
Underfoot, the diamond-pattern rubber outsole — inspired by the original 860 — adds both traction and a nod to New Balance heritage. Released on September 2, 2022, the New Balance 9060 Black Gray (GS) retailed for $110.
