About this product
The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack ‘Grey’ delivers a deconstructed take on the popular 2002R silhouette, dressed in a versatile all-grey color palette. The layered design highlights the Protection Pack’s signature unfinished aesthetic while maintaining the model’s premium running-inspired appeal.
The upper combines breathable mesh with synthetic overlays, creating a balance of comfort, durability, and texture. Distressed edge detailing throughout the overlays adds depth to the design, giving the sneaker its distinctive rugged look. Signature branding includes the oversized “N” logo on the side panels, “2002R” text near the heel, and classic NB branding on the back.
Underfoot, the shoe features a cushioned midsole with responsive foam technology that helps provide support and all-day comfort. A durable rubber outsole enhances traction and stability, while the reinforced toe cap and heel counter contribute to the sneaker’s sturdy construction.
The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack ‘Grey’ was released on February 14, 2023, with a retail price of $170.
