About this product
The New Balance 1000 Taro (U10008W8) gives the late-'90s running silhouette a distinctive color-focused update. The Taro finish adds a rich, expressive character to the shoe while preserving the aggressive proportions and layered construction that define the 1000. Its combination of mesh and structured overlays creates the technical appearance associated with turn-of-the-millennium performance footwear.
The substantial sole unit complements the upper with cushioned support for everyday movement, while the multi-panel construction adds depth and reinforces the model's retro running identity. The Taro color treatment gives the otherwise performance-driven silhouette a more fashion-forward personality, making it an easy standout within a modern sneaker rotation.
The New Balance 1000 Taro combines archival running influences, layered construction, and a distinctive color treatment for a bold interpretation of one of New Balance's revived heritage runners.
