You’ll love how quickly and beautifully this basket bowl gets worked up with our beautiful Flax & Twine 6mm Jute Rope. Learn a new basketweaving stitch that allows for straight stitching across one layer of coiled rope. Each kit makes two bowls- one bigger and one smaller so they can sit happily together, or split them up and give one to a friend!
Please note: almost all jute, including ours, is treated with a mineral oil, Jute Batching Oil, during manufacturing to keep the fibers soft and together as it is twisted. This oil can smell a little like mild turpentine. If your bundle smells too much for you, leave it in the sun for a day or two, exposing the rope to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation will lessen the mineral oil smell.
