About this product
by Sophie Beer (Author)
A cheery board book celebration of mothers, by the creator of Love Makes a Family and Kindness Makes Us Strong.
A bear hug from my mama is the warmest place to be. . . . This rhyming board book follows a day in the life of a child and their loving mama bear, from a honey-filled breakfast, to tumbling with their friends at preschool while mama bear "hunts" at work, to bedtime in their warm, cozy den of blankets. With bear-y funny metaphors and tender moments sprinkled throughout, My Mama Bear and Me is an empowering ode to anyone who is or has a protective mama bear figure in their life.Author Biography
Sophie Beer completed a dual degree in Law and Creative Industries with distinction at Queensland University of Technology, but found the whole law thing completely wrong for her and now works primarily in children's and editorial illustration. Reveling in color, shape, and texture, she lives by one simple rule: Art should never be boring. When she's not illustrating and writing, she thinks a lot about plants, animals, music, and books.
