The Mirka® DEROS II 550X is a 5" direct electric random orbital sander developed for effective and dust-free sanding of all kinds of surfaces. Featuring a 5.0 mm oscillation, this sander provides an ideal balance between stock removal and surface finish, making it the most commonly used orbit for general-purpose sanding. This next-generation sander continues the legacy of the successful original DEROS with numerous improvements, including a new design that makes speed adjustment even easier. It features clearly visible LED indicators for the speed selector and a separate on/off switch. Thanks to its high-efficiency brushless motor, the DEROS II maintains a consistent speed and can effortlessly tackle demanding jobs and heavy applications. Its low-profile, lightweight, and ergonomic design ensures operator comfort for long periods without fatigue.
