About this product
New for Spring 2026! The classic Topo Terraventure is getting a slight update, but Topo is not straying from the tried and true design.
Details
Runners and hikers that loved the 4th edition will find the fit and feel of the Men’s Topo Terraventure 5 just as good and or better. Topo is known for footwear that has a wide forefoot, snug midfoot and secure heel. The Men’s Topo Terraventure 5 brings the Topo fit together with a 3mm drop, protective rock plate and Vibram® Megagrip outsole. For hikers and trail runners looking to tackle rocky, muddy, wet and variable terrain the 5mm lugs will provide any user the opportunity to succeed. Unlike other lower drop/wide forefoot competitors we have found the Topo Terraventure to be extremely durable. A lightweight mesh upper provides breathability for the feet in hot and humid conditions while being durable in rocky terrain.
Technologies
- Vibram® Megagrip Outsole
Vibram® created this rubber compound to perform in extreme conditions and that’s why Topo Athletic placed it on to their Men’s Terraventure 5. This compound formed into a 5mm lug pattern means that the nastiest wet and slick terrain can be handled with confidence. The tread is spaced in a manner that allows debris to escape as opposed to accumulating on the outsole.
- ESS Rock Plate
A flexible rock plate made from hardened EVA allows runners and hikers to receive information from the ground such as loose rocks and slick roots without receiving painful bites from rocky terrain. At 22mm of stack height the rock plate allows runners and hikers to tackle the most rocky terrain while saving their feet.
- Topo Athletic Fit
All Topo Athletic shoes are built on a foundation of wide-forefoot, snug midfoot and secure heel. At 7000 Feet Running Company many customers are looking for forefoot space but don’t want a loose heel and Topo meets that requirement.
