About this product
Mahlkonig E80W GbS Grind-by-Sync Espresso Grinder
The Mahlkonig E80W is the grind-by-weight member of the E80 family - the same 80mm flat steel burrs and record grinding speed as the rest of the line, now dosing by real weight instead of time, and featuring The Sync System, Mahlkonig's first wired connection between grinder and espresso machine.
2-Year Warranty

Free Shipping
At Coffeeionado, we understand the frustration of hidden costs when making online purchases. This is why we're thrilled to announce that we now cover all shipping, freight, and handling charges for our premium coffee equipment. Gone are the days of considering additional fees as you add items to your cart.
Real-Time Grind-by-Weight
An integrated load cell weighs coffee as it falls into the basket and stops the grinder the instant your programmed dose is reached - accurate to within a tenth of a gram. There's no estimating from a timer; the dose is measured directly.
The Sync System - Wired, No Wi-Fi Required
The E80W was Mahlkonig's first grinder to feature The Sync System, connecting to a compatible espresso machine over a dedicated USB cable rather than a wireless connection. That direct link lets the grinder and machine share data without depending on your shop's network.
Massive 80mm Burrs, Serious Speed
An 845W motor at 1,700 RPM drives the 80mm flat steel burrs, and Disc Distance Detection (DDD) measures the actual burr gap for accurate, repeatable grind settings. An 88.3mm high-resolution display keeps dose weight and settings clearly visible from across the bar.
Hands-Free Portafilter Detection
Insert your portafilter and the E80W automatically recognizes it and grinds the correct programmed dose - one less step during a busy rush.
